This scent is a great representation of celebratory fruits eaten during a Juneteenth celebration specifically watermelon !!!! A unique blend of all the melons we love. At first "sniff" this may appear very faint. But don't be fooled. Once lit , you'll notice an immediate release of fresh cucumber, watermelon and ripe cantaloupe straight from the garden. Don't expect a candy-like fragrance but a balance between fresh and sweet that will linger in your room. Highly recommended for fresh fruit lovers !
Top: White Citrus, Fresh Cut Cucumber, Casaba Melon, Cantaloupe, Watermelon
Middle: Lily of the Valley, Watery Cyclamen

History: The Emancipation Proclamation was signed by President Abraham Lincoln on January 1, 1863, though word of the proclamation would not officially reach Texas for another two and half years — June 19, 1865.
On June 19, 1865, nearly two years after President Abraham Lincoln emancipated enslaved Africans in America, Union troops arrived in Galveston Bay, Texas with news of freedom. Over 250,000 African Americans embraced freedom by executive decree in what became known as Juneteenth or Freedom Day. The Junetneeth flag is red, white, and blue representing the American flag, a reminder that the enslaved and their descendants were and are Americans. The star represents Texas, the Lone Star state. The bursting star shape means, a new beginning for the newly freed people.
Celebratory foods practiced then and today are watermelon, strawberry soda, fried chicken, collards, and cornbread (made in cast iron skillet). Summer fruits like strawberries and watermelon are in peak season during Juneteenth.
