Hello Fam ! Check out our lovely scents.
Embrace fresh & floral scents. Our candles contain 100% non-GMO coconut-soy wax, and no paraffin. We use phthalate-free scents that contain essential oils. Our wood wicks are sourced from FSC-certified mills and made in the USA.
Repurpose your concrete vessel.
The fun doesn't stop!! Your concrete & glass vessel can be repurposed !! Once your candle is finished (when a half inch of wax remains) carefully remove the wax and wick stem using a spoon. Wipe out the wax with a cloth, wash it, and let it dry. One can use the vessel as a phone holder, a change jar, or a pot for plants. ***In the photo, I use my vessel to hold my coffee grounds, saving it for plants or ant hills :) Concrete vessels are not food safe, so no honey in these jars. ALL concrete vessels are sealed! We use non-toxic water-based sealers with no VOCs (no volatile organic compounds), from a reputable family-owned company that understands our health, our animal's health, and plant life.
Candle care
Hold your lighter/match to the wood wick for 10-20 seconds to light.
Your first burn is the most important!!
As your candle burns, allow the wax to reach a full "melt pool" before extinguishing. Which refers to the point where the melted wax from a burning candle reaches the edge of its container. This will prevent tunneling from occurring (picture below).
Don’t exceed 3 or more hours of burning to avoid an enlarged flame and a hot vessel.
Before you relight your candle, remove the charred wood with your finger or napkin. Charred wood won’t light.
*Keep the wick length 1/4 inch before each use. Trim your wick using sharp scissors or a wick trimmer. This prevents a high flame, which can be dangerous.
*Place the candle away from window curtains, drafts, children, pets, and flammables. Place the candle on an even surface. Avoid moving your candle while it is lit. To prevent wax from spilling and burning your hand.
*Store the candle in a cool place to avoid color/scent fading.
****NEVER leave your candle unattended***
Tunneling
The picture is an example of "Tunneling ".
Tunneling is a condition where the candle's center hollows out. Wax has a memory and once a burning pattern has been established it can be hard to change it.
To prevent Tunneling
* Your first burn is the most important burn !!!! Burn your candle when you're certain you're in for the night/day. .
*Allow the wax to fully melt to the container's edges.
***How to fix Tunneling****
If your candle looks like this picture, no worries. Your goal is to make the candle wax leveled/flat. Use a spoon to remove the wax along the candle wall.
Either use the excess wax in your wax warmer or throw it away.
Another method*****
You can fix a tunneled candle by wrapping a piece of aluminum foil around the edges and simply letting it burn. Make sure the foil hangs over the built-up wax areas, but leave an opening in the center so the wick can still burn properly. After a couple of hours, the wax should melt and even out the surface.
